Rationale of the NITC Logo

Swift movement, wave action and a spinning gyra are powerful metaphors for the sweeping changes already set in motion by a nation empowered with the language of Information and Communication Technology. A strong suggestion of the limitless frontiers of knowledge is reinforced through the rendition of an undefined circle. An increasingly borderless world will evolve new social, economic and political relationships. These create both challenges and opportunities.
The cool blue set awash across the logo signifies togetherness and the spirit of creativity and innovation. This is in direct contrast to the words The National Information Technology Council (NITC) which is in bold black for strength, seriousness of purpose, confidence and commitment.
